Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to adult patients recovering from injuries and those with pain from chronic degenerative disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting individualized physical therapy sessions, creating customized treatment plans, and collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and improve function
- Provide evidence-based interventions to address pain, mobility, balance, and range of motion deficits
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and wellness
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Adult patients only (ages 18 )
- Experience working with patients recovering from injuries or conditions that require physical therapy interventions
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess and treat patients of varying ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic life support certification (BLS) required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols for common injuries and conditions
- Certification in specialized areas, such as orthopedics, pain management, or sports physical therapy
