Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role located in Boston, MA, with weekend shifts paying approximately $25–$30 per hour. Waitstaff, bussers, and bartenders will set up event spaces, prepare service stations, and ensure tables, bars, and buffet areas are clean and organized. Team members will serve food and beverages, clear dishes and glassware, and support efficient service throughout events. Responsibilities include following event timelines, adhering to safety and sanitation standards, and providing courteous, attentive service to guests. Staff may also assist event leads with basic setup and breakdown, restocking supplies, and coordinating with kitchen and catering teams to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or food service, such as serving, bussing, or bartending, with strong guest service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced event environments, including carrying trays, standing for extended periods, and moving between service areas.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices; bartenders should be familiar with responsible alcohol service.
