Position: Wire Drawing Operator
Join our team of game-changers! We're looking for a wd operator who brings passion, and creativity and takes charge of ensuring seamless and efficient production operations!
In this role, you'll be responsible for checking machine setups, monitoring production schedules, ensuring material availability, and checking the quality of produced materials. You'll also play a critical role in developing the skills of our existing workforce through on-machine training and efficiency improvement initiatives. Required Knowledge and Skills:
· Previous experiencie in the steel industry is a plus
· Experience in the manufacturing area
· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively use hand tools.
· Precision, able to use fine measuring devices to ensure proper alignment and tight tolerances.
· Ingenuity, able to utilize tooling in unique ways to achieve consistent outcomes.
· Attention to detail and focus on production and quality.
· Desire to learn and advance, actively engage in training activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
· High school, GED, or Associate Degree
· Self-starter with initiative to make decisions is a plus
· Good time management skills
· Good written and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
