Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Ensure images produced are of high quality and accurately represent the area being examined
- Analyze images and data to provide preliminary findings to healthcare providers
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality of information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with various ultrasound equipment and technologies
- Proficiency in performing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal ultrasounds
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
