Primary Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provide high-quality, specialized nursing care across multiple units, including the Emergency Clinic, Long Term Care, Unit for the Cognitively Impaired, and the Infirmary.
Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administer medications in strict accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough nursing assessments and manage critical patient intake and out-draft processes.
Documentation: Maintain precise, timely, and compliant medical records and documentation specific to the facility's requirements.
Operational Flexibility: Manage daily tasks and treatments unique to the unit, with the flexibility to work 8-hour shifts that may extend to 12 or 16 hours based on facility needs.
Education & Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (license must be provided for physical review at the time of interview).
Experience: Proven experience working as an RN in a clinical, correctional, or acute care setting preferred.
