Architectural Project Designer / Project Manager
Pencil Projects Architecture Studio is a women-owned, community-focused, design-driven architecture firm based in New Rochelle, New York. We specialize in residential, commercial, and community projects throughout Westchester County, creating thoughtful spaces that transform existing buildings through creative design, technical excellence, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Prepare architectural drawings and permit sets using AutoCAD
* Develop design concepts and client presentations
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, and municipalities
* Conduct field measurements and site visits
* Assist with construction administration, RFIs, and submittals
* Manage projects from design through construction
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
* 2–3 years of professional experience preferred
* Strong AutoCAD proficiency
* Experience preparing construction documents
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Familiarity with New York building codes and permitting is a plus
