Role Description
This is a part-time and remote role for an Electrical Estimator. The role involves preparing accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with team members to develop competitive proposals. Responsibilities also include interpreting blueprints, assessing material and labor costs, and ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards. Attention to detail and effective communication with clients and stakeholders are essential to the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Estimating and Cost Control
- Knowledge of Electrical Contracting and Electricity principles
- Familiarity with Electrical Engineering concepts and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with relevant software tools and estimating programs is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
