What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker/Dishwasher position at PEN RYN ESTATE on the Delaware?
PEN RYN ESTATE, the Bucks County PA and Philadelphia Areas Premier Riverfront Event Venue, is Expanding its Culinary Team with Dynamic, Attentive and Detail Oriented Utility Worker/Dishwasher. Averaging about 250 weddings, our Culinary Team is focused on ensuring all recipes, food preparations, presentation meet our specifications and commitment to the quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Setting up and maintain dish machine and pot sink throughout the day.
-General BOH cleanliness, garbage removal, boxes, walls, equipment scrubbed and polished.
-Must be able to use chemicals in a proper manner and replenish as needed.
-Ability to work late nights and weekends and work in a fast paced environment under wet, hot conditions.
-Maintain proper temperature of pot sink (use test strips) and regularly change the water of sinks and the dish machine.
-Properly wash/stack plates, silverware and kitchen equipment.
-Separate plates and put in appropriate vessels.
-Silverware rinsed/washed and put in separate containers so they can be moved to appropriate buildings.
-Assist the front of the house on an as needed basis during events.
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
-Must be able to work late nights/weekends.
-Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
