What you will do
- Develop training programs, materials, and assessments aligned with safety and regulatory requirements
- Deliver engaging in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions
- Build and maintain computer-based and virtual learning content
- Track training completion, certifications, and qualification status
- Support workforce certification programs aligned with FTA requirements
- Monitor training compliance, expirations, and renewal needs
- Ensure training records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready
- Support audits, reporting, and compliance documentation
- Evaluate training effectiveness and improve programs using feedback and data
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and training documentation
- Coordinate with safety, operations, maintenance, and HR teams
What you bring
- 5 plus years of experience in training, certification, or workforce compliance
- Experience in transit, transportation, or other regulated environments preferred
- Experience developing and delivering training programs
- Experience managing training records or certification tracking
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA, FTA, or similar safety requirements
- Familiarity with safety management systems and workforce training alignment
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CPLP, ATD, CSP, ASP, SMS, or similar
- Experience with learning management systems or training platforms
- Experience developing computer-based or e-learning content
- Familiarity with State Safety Oversight or APTA standards
- Experience supporting audit or regulatory review processes

Compensation
$38.46 – $52.88 Hourly, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications
