Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Our store hours are 7am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday, and 7am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Night shift: 2/3PM to 9/9:30PM.
We are currently hiring one part-time position, with at least one day of weekend availability required.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers in the department and ensuring their orders are filled to meet their expectations.
- Deli team members are also expected to make suggestions to our customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Become familiar with products in the store to answer questions and make suggestions to customers.
- Our deli consists of multiple parts such as a bakery case, prepared food case, and sandwich line. We are also responsible for takeout orders via delivery apps, as well as catering orders.
- Deli members are required to set up the prepared food case, grab and go case, and sandwich line.
- Responsible for helping customers with cold cut orders, sandwich orders, and deli case orders.
- Must be comfortable with using slicers, knives, and other equipment such as panini presses and ovens.
- Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Replenish product in the deli cases, rotating product and ensuring code dating procedures are followed.
- Accurately record and assist in preparation of deli special orders to ensure the customer is delighted with the finished product.
- Maintain cleanliness of department and work area, including the back room.
- Assist in maintaining deli cooler efficiency by unloading deliveries.
- Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customers’ safety.
- Assist in other areas as required.
- The ideal candidate is great at multitasking, customer service, and is familiar with handling food.
Position Detail
Open availability preferred; Applicants must be 18 years old; Pay starting at $20/hr. plus tips, room to grow if you have experience
Night shift: 2PM to 9/9:30PM.
