Transportation Planner

Join Peloton’s Global Transportation & Logistics team as a Transportation Planner and become a key player in optimizing our Global supply chain. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful, cost-optimized delivery experience for Peloton members. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, optimization, and execution of both forward-stocking and reverse logistics, managing the complex flow of Connected Fitness units, Accessories, and Apparel across our distribution network. This is a high-impact position that offers significant exposure to multiple facets of global transportation and provides a clear path for growth within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

You will be the central force driving the real-time movement and optimization of Peloton's inventory.

• Execution and Optimization: Create, optimize, and execute the daily movement of critical inventory via truckload and parcel within the North American network, including the efficient transportation of returned inventory to refurbishment and regional centers.
• Operational Liaison & Issue Resolution: Act as the primary liaison, managing real-time communications and quickly resolving daily obstacles among transportation service providers, Distribution Center (DC) operations, and internal Peloton teams to maintain continuous product flow and minimize downstream constraints.
• Process Excellence & Global Alignment: Drive operational compliance and carrier performance by participating in daily/weekly reporting and metric-driven communication. You will also support the integration of logistics best practices in our EU/UK regions, mirroring successful North American processes.
• Project Leadership: Execute assigned logistics activities and projects, proactively adhering to target dates and providing essential input during cross-functional initiatives.

• Foundational Logistics Experience:
• 1 year of experience in Supply Chain (direct transportation experience is preferred).
• A BS/BA in a related field is required.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience utilizing a TMS/WMS system is a plus.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience working effectively with both external logistics providers and internal warehouse/DC operations teams.
• Action-Oriented Mindset: A desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effortlessly transitioning between working autonomously and collaboratively to meet deadlines and drive team initiatives.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range: $71,600 USD - $84,700 USD
