We’re looking for a Senior Events Manager who goes far beyond execution. This is a role for a true problem solver—someone who can step into any challenge, quickly understand the objective, and proactively identify the resources, pathways, and ideas needed to bring it to life.
This role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in San Diego, and will begin as a contract position with a strong possibility of transitioning into a full-time role for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
• Own end-to-end execution of large-scale events, activations, and experiences
• Lead project timelines, budgets, and logistics with precision
• Act as both strategist and executor—translating big-picture ideas into actionable, high-impact plans
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust and driving alignment
• Proactively identify challenges, opportunities, and solutions—before they arise and in real time
• Navigate both event execution and broader marketing initiatives with confidence
• Source and manage vendors, partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless experiences
• Build strong relationships across clients, partners, and teams to elevate outcomes
• Oversee on-site execution, ensuring every detail is dialed in and every moment lands
What We’re Looking For
• 5–8 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or a related field
• Proven ability to lead complex, high-budget projects from concept through execution
• A natural problem solver with strong instincts and a bias for action
• Ability to think strategically, act creatively, and drive solutions in ambiguous situations
• Experience working across both events and marketing initiatives
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm, decisive, and solutions-focused under pressure
• A collaborative mindset with zero ego and a drive to elevate the work
