We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a love for flowers, capable of creating stunning arrangements for various occasions. This role requires a blend of artistic talent, customer service skills, and retail experience to ensure that our clients receive exceptional floral products and service.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
- Maintain the stock of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Assist customers in selecting floral products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and aesthetically pleasing shop environment.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor displays.
- Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques to continually improve skills.
Skills
- Proficient in floral design with a strong understanding of color theory and composition.
- Experience with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction handling.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Sales experience is beneficial for promoting products and services effectively.
- A passion for gardening and an appreciation for various types of flowers and plants.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
