Summary
The Project Manager – Trade Division will lead our new construction installation team, and will be responsible for ensuring that installations are performed on time, first time complete, on budget and to the high quality standards of the Pella brand. This will be achieved by teaching and coaching our installers and holding them accountable for high performance. The Project Manager – Trade Division is directly responsible for the satisfaction of our builder customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of a project from design, project resources to final installation
- Collaborating with Sales representatives pre-bid to proactively identify scope of project
- Coordinating with and mentoring the subcontractor installation team
- Resolve construction issues
- Maintain multiple project schedules and budgets simultaneously
- Ability to read and analyze blueprints
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws in regard to staff safety and building code requirements.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience using Salesforce Products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage and execute on project plans with a strong sense of focus and confidence under tight deadlines
- Detail oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up
- Prior project management experience within the construction industry
- Previous experience installing windows and doors a plus

Education and/or Experience
Previous Project Management experience or a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a technical emphasis; one or two years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior construction experience is preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
