Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Outside Sales Representative based in Westchester County, New York or Connecticut on our Trade team. Our Trade team is responsible for building the Pella brand within the local trade industry, cultivating relationships with builders, remodelers, contractors, and architects within your assigned territory. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will serve as the face of Pella in your market, acting as an expert consultant and trusted advisor to our clients. Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and manage relationships with residential builders, remodelers, contractors, and architects
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Serve as a consultative resource, providing technical knowledge, product insights, and on-site support to clients
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate quoting, order processing, scheduling, and customer follow-through
- Use Salesforce and other sales enablement tools to track activities, manage the pipeline, and report on performance
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within your assigned territory is required
- B2B sales experience is a plus
- Construction or trades experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
