Field Service Technician – We Will Train
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Pay: $30–$40/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM - NO Weekends
Pella Western Slope is hiring a Service Technician for a customer-facing role working in homes and on job sites as a Field Service Technician. This is a hands-on position that requires strong construction skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company well with homeowners and trade partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take the lead on service calls, diagnosing and resolving issues in the field
- Use your construction experience to troubleshoot and deliver quality repairs
- Build trust with homeowners and trade partners through clear communication and strong work
- Manage your day, your work, and your results with a high level of accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Construction experience required (carpentry, remodeling, installation, etc.)
- Comfortable using tools and working with your hands
- Able to problem-solve and figure things out in the field
- Reliable, shows up, and takes pride in the work
You do NOT need direct window and door experience. We will train you.
What We’ll Teach You
- How to service and repair Pella windows and doors
- How to diagnose issues and complete repairs
- How we run service calls and document work
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. alone (100 with assistance) and climb ladders
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Strong construction background (carpentry, remodeling, installation, or similar)
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication skills – comfortable working directly with homeowners and trade partners
- Professional presence and ability to represent the company in customer homes and job sites
- Strong computer skills – able to use an iPad/tablet for service notes, job documentation, and communication
- Ability to stay organized, manage your schedule, and follow through on service work
