Position Summary:
Pella Community Schools seeks a passionate, student-centered leader to serve as Middle School Student Success Coordinator, with additional responsibilities as Middle School Activities Director. This position focuses on supporting student achievement, engagement, and well-being through collaboration, data-informed practices, and targeted interventions.
In addition, the role provides leadership for middle school co-curricular programsincluding athletics, fine arts, and student organizationshelping build a positive, unified culture that promotes participation, school spirit, and high performance. The position also includes limited support of high school activities programming and events as needed.
The district desires for this to be a combined position; however, responsibilities may need to be split or adjusted based on candidate strengths.

Qualifications:
- Prefer one of the following (or working towards):
- Valid Iowa Teacher Certification
- Master's Degree in Counseling
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Experience in student support services and/or activities leadership preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered practices and continuous improvement
Schedule:
Includes evenings and occasional weekends.
