About Us:
Pell Tree Company is a trusted tree care company that provides exceptional tree trimming, removal, and maintenance services. We are looking for an experienced Tree Service Crew Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and lead a team of tree care professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew in performing tree trimming, removal, and pruning services.
- Safely operate bucket trucks, chippers, chainsaws, and other equipment.
- Perform advanced tree climbing using ropes, saddles, and safety gear.
- Conduct pre-job briefings and ensure crew members follow safety protocols.
- Communicate with clients to understand job requirements and provide excellent customer service.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety practices.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite, ensuring debris is properly cleaned up.
Qualifications:
- Experience in tree care, including climbing and bucket truck operation.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in rigging and advanced climbing techniques.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of tree species, disease identification, and proper pruning methods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- ISA Certification (preferred but not required).
