What You'll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using drawings, processors, and programming tools
- Build sub-routines that account for geometry and tolerances to ensure accurate production
- Manually program and run Bridgeport-type machines from blueprints
- Select tooling, review programs, and make edits to keep production on spec
- Maintain tight tolerances based on part drawings
- Handle secondary operations such as deburring when needed
- Support and guide lower-level operators on proper machine use
- Keep production records updated and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and report equipment or material issues
- At least 5 years of CNC and Bridgeport-type machine operation
- Comfortable measuring with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus
- Someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts
- Comfortable working in a busy environment with shifting priorities
- Able to work overtime as needed, including evenings or weekends
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well with all levels
