As a Machinist II, you'll program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components while helping drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the machine shop.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this position is listed below. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. What You'll Do
As a Machinist II, you'll program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components while helping drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the machine shop.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines using engineering drawings, part specifications, and machining programs.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Edit and optimize CNC programs as needed to improve machining performance and product quality.
- Perform manual machining operations on Bridgeport-style equipment when required.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Perform deburring, finishing, and other secondary machining operations as needed.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
- Mentor and support less experienced machinists and machine operators.
- Maintain accurate production records and support quality documentation.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and operating safely.
- Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm EST
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with production and engineering teams.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
- CNC programming experience.
- Experience with Bridgeport-style manual mills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
