Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, vacuuming pools, and balancing chemical levels to ensure water clarity and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functioning.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, chemical treatments, and maintenance schedules for each pool.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs or service requests to uphold safety standards and customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools, including draining, covering, or winterizing as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience working on pool equipment or similar systems.
- Proven ability to perform equipment repair using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or cleaning is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry, water testing, and chemical balancing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Service technician experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
