What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPC, LCSW, LMFT position at Pelican Pediatrics?
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our rural health clinic. We currently have a one LMFT and we need a second behavioral health provider. The position is for a 1099 employee and the pay structure is a "piece-rate pay", meaning that you are paid per encounter. You will have the flexability to make your own schedule. The clinic provides malpractice insurance and handles all of your billing. There is a small private office available. We have an EHR, but you will only be required to use it for scheduling and billing functions. You do not have to use it for charting, although your charts would still need to be complete and meet standard criteria. In other words, I don't want learning a new EHR to be a deterrent. You will certainly be able to use it if you want. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, to diverse populationsin an outpatient setting. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals.
