Role Description
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Behavior Therapist to join our team. You will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and related developmental needs, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children, eager to learn, and excited to grow in the field of ABA therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in a clinic-based setting
- Implement treatment plans and behavior-support strategies designed by a BCBA
- Collect accurate and consistent data during sessions
- Support skill development in communication, play, daily living, and social interaction
- Assist with behavior reduction strategies using positive, evidence-based approaches
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers
- Maintain a warm, patient, and supportive environment for children and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Comfortable being active, kneeling, sitting on the floor, and engaging in play-based activities
- RBT certification not required—we provide training for the right candidate
