Lifestyle Coordinator
Position: Full Time / Hourly
Reports To: Projects & Amenities Manager

Pelican Isle Yacht Club
A Member-owned private Club in North Naples with approximately 430 Memberships, 190 Boat Slips, a beautiful campus with rich amenities, brand new Marina, and an active “on-the-water” lifestyle. The Club is comprised of Members and Employees who are proud of our friendly and inclusive atmosphere, professional organization, and beautiful location. PIYC is recognized by Club Leader’s Forum as the #7 Yacht Club in America on the Platinum Clubs List and on the top 50 Platinum Clubs of the World.
The PIYC Lifestyle Coordinator plans, coordinates, and executes the Club’s sports, paddlesports, fitness, cruising, and social lifestyle activities, creating a vibrant calendar of experiences that bring Members together. Blending creativity, organization, and hospitality, this role delivers engaging programs both on and off the water, while assisting with select Membership-related administrative tasks that support a welcoming and connected community. From concept and promotion to execution and follow-up, the Lifestyle Coordinator ensures each activity is thoughtfully managed and memorable for all who attend.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the Club’s lifestyle programming, including sports, paddlesports, fitness, cruising, and social activities
- Partner with Member Coordinators to develop, promote, and execute engaging Member programs
- Collaborate with Club Staff to assist in planning and coordinating the Club’s event calendar
- Maintain and regularly update the Club’s Website and Mobile App with accurate and engaging content for lifestyle programming
- Capture photography and videography of programming for use in Club communications and promotions
- Serve as liaison for contracted instructors and vendors, coordinating schedules and program offerings
- Manage programming registration, reservations, billing, and vendor payments in coordination with the Accounting Department
- Assist with prospective Member inquiries and Membership-related administrative tasks to support accurate record-keeping
- Provide proactive Member services, including phone coverage, front desk reception, audio-visual support, and notary services as needed
- Collaborate with Department Heads to support Club initiatives and ensure clear and consistent communication related to lifestyle events and activities
- Serve as the primary backup for website and e-blast updates
- Maintain a flexible schedule working Sunday-Thursday, overseeing main administrative services Sunday-Tuesday, with occasional evenings and holidays as needed
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression for Members and guests
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills to engage Members and collaborate with Staff and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable using Club-specific platforms such as Jonas Club Software, Canva, Constant Contact, MembersFirst, GroupValet, and Slack
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans as needed; proactive and self-motivated with strong project follow-through
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Committed to ongoing professional development and staying informed on best practices in Club engagement
Our New Team Member Will Possess the Following Essential Qualifications:
- Has 2-3 years of experience in event planning, lifestyle programming, or Private Club operations
- Is polished and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Able to provide analysis and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, well organized, detail oriented, and flexible
- Innovative and solution-minded approach to meeting daily challenges
- Enjoy working with a team and have strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to an evolving organization
