Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded Systems Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for innovative design. This role will contribute to a variety of exciting and challenging projects, from initial concept to final implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded electrical products involving analog and digital circuitry for various industries.
• Create detailed diagrams, flowcharts, calculations, electrical schematics, PCB layouts, operating procedures and test procedures.
• Write embedded firmware and test software to interface products.
• Test prototypes using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical analyzers.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and final production.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project execution.
• Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• ABET Accredited 4-Year Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science focused on Embedded Systems.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software CAD software (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, etc.).
• Proficiency in embedded firmware languages and platforms (e.g., Embedded C)
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, prototyping processes, testing processes, and troubleshooting processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• PE license in the State of Louisiana preferred, PE pursuit acceptable.
• Experience with project management and consulting.
• Knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards.
