We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Duties
- Greets visitors and residents; maintains a welcoming, and professional demeanor.
- Takes prospective residents on tours of model/community.
- Follows up on leads daily through telephone and email inquiries.
- Data entry.
- Prepares weekly traffic/renewal status reports.
- Organizes and maintains resident files with high level of detail.
- Explains leasing policies to prospective renters.
- Prepares and processes paperwork such as applications, rental agreements, credit and employment checks and move-in packages.
- Handles client service requests and corresponds with maintenance personnel to take care of all requests.
- Maintains current information on vacant units on all marketing mediums.
- Follow up on work order satisfaction.
- Helps property achieve and maintain high occupancy rates.
- All other duties as assigned
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies to attract potential tenants.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
