Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist NICU/PICU will provide expert respiratory care across a diverse patient population, with a strong emphasis on neonatal and pediatric critical care. You will work within a 300 bed critical care facility using advanced respiratory technology, including Servo U/i ventilators, Trilogy units, and Fisher Paykel high‑flow systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care to NICU, PICU, intermediate, and adult ICU patients
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Servo ventilators, Trilogy systems, and high‑flow therapy
- Perform assessments, treatments, and ventilator management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced critical care environment
- Document care using EPIC (preferred)
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large critical care facility
- Proven NICU/PICU experience required
- RRT preferred; CRT accepted (NBRC)
- Active Illinois license required at submission
- BLS (AHA) required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high‑acuity settings
