Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist NICU/PICU will provide expert respiratory care across a diverse patient population, with a strong emphasis on neonatal and pediatric critical care. You will work within a 300 bed critical care facility using advanced respiratory technology, including Servo U/i ventilators, Trilogy units, and Fisher Paykel high‑flow systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care to NICU, PICU, intermediate, and adult ICU patients
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Servo ventilators, Trilogy systems, and high‑flow therapy
• Perform assessments, treatments, and ventilator management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced critical care environment
• Document care using EPIC (preferred)

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large critical care facility
• Proven NICU/PICU experience required
• RRT preferred; CRT accepted (NBRC)
• Active Illinois license required at submission
• BLS (AHA) required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high‑acuity settings

Required Credentials

• Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• BLS (AHA)
• RRT or CRT (NBRC)
