Position Overview

The Imaging Processor retrieves, identifies, prepares, scans, and indexes all incoming mail into the document management system.

Essential Job Functions

• Retrieves mail daily from mailroom and prepares paper items for scanning
• Scans and indexes documents for department to the correct workflow, policy number, and document type
• Identifies and indexes all incoming faxes and emails
• Sends documents to the correct department that were routed incorrectly
• Maintains all scanned items in meticulous order, periodically boxing up items for storage
• Performs general care and maintenance of scanner and microfilm machine
• Performs other duties as assigned 

Education & Experience

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Basic ability to:

• type with speed and accuracy
• perform routine office work using basic clerical skills
• maintain records of materials, supplies, time, and work performed
• organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

Basic skill in:

• data entry with minimal errors
• completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail

   Pay Range: 

•        $16.35 - $21.15 per hour 
  • This range is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position. Final compensation will depend on individual
