We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs including auto body restoration, structural realignment, and cosmetic refinishing to meet manufacturer standards.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair techniques to fix sheet metal and automotive parts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct auto glass replacement, auto painting with airless paint spraying, and detailing to restore vehicles’ appearance.
- Install automotive parts such as bumpers, trim, auto glass, and other components with precision.
- Apply fabrication techniques for custom repairs or modifications using sheet metal and fabrication repair methods.
- Follow auto estimating procedures to assess damage and determine repair scope while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in auto restoration projects by applying mechanical knowledge and automotive cosmetic repair skills.
- Lift heavy parts safely during repairs while maintaining proper use of tools and equipment to ensure quality workmanship.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist with dealership or independent shops preferred.
- Strong MIG welding skills along with expertise in fabrication and welding repair techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, parts installation, and general auto maintenance practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and automotive painting tools such as airless sprayers.
- Familiarity with automotive structural repair standards and auto body refinishing processes.
- Ability to perform auto glass replacement, dent repair, and sheet metal work efficiently.
- Experience with auto estimating software and understanding of vehicle damage assessment procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail in cosmetic repairs like sanding, painting, polishing, and detailing vehicles.
- Knowledge of automotive parts installation including bumpers, trim pieces, and auto glass components.
- Ability to work safely with heavy lifting equipment while maintaining a clean work environment.
