1st shift Order Puller (Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm) needed in our state-of-the-art environmentally controlled very clean facility in South Bend, IN. The Order Puller is responsible for the pulling/picking of parts throughout the warehouse while adhering to departmental processes and procedures. Basic understanding of order pulling principles.

- High School Diploma or GED Preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Basic ability to read and interpret Pick Suggestions and Work Orders Kit List with regards to warehouse locations.
- Basic understanding of PEI Quality Policy, FOD, and AS9100 Overview.
- Basic understanding of FIFO (First In – First Out) practices
- Knowledge of Product Identification and lot traceability as it pertains to order pulling
- Operation of order puller scanner
- Achieve effective level in primary position as defined in Skills Matrix
- Pulling parts from Pick Suggestions and Work Orders
- Confirming Work Orders or pulled part accuracy
- Ensure that Work Instructions are being followed and all processes are being met
- Ensure that all Pick Suggestions and Work Orders are being completed within the allotted time by Management.
- Ability to utilize weigh scale in the counting of parts
- Read, understand, and complete all Shipping Department documentation and work instructions to the PEI-Genesis, ISO9001, and AS9100 standard.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area using 5S principles.
- Stock order pulling cart with required materials to perform job.
- Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion (with assistance).
- Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8 hours of the day.
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours.
- Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool.
- Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day.
