SUMMARY:
We're looking for a skilled Boomi Integration Engineer to join our Application Services team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience with the Boomi platform and a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, MIS, or a related field. This role is a direct contributor to enhancing and growing Boomi as a data and services hub, connecting various internal enterprise systems and providing data and services to external partners. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Application Services.
Qualifications:EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, management information systems (MIS), or a related business technology field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an integration engineer or developer, with a focus on the Boomi platform.
- Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, TIBCO) is a plus.
- Boomi certification(s) are highly desirable.
ESSENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and other technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and maintain existing integrations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data flow, connectivity, and performance.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
TECHNICAL & MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES:
- Deep expertise in the Boomi AtomSphere platform, including Boomi Integration, Boomi Flow, Boomi Data Integration, and Boomi API Management.
- Proficiency in various integration patterns and protocols such as REST, SOAP, SFTP, and EDI.
- Strong knowledge of data formats, including XML, JSON, and CSV.
- Experience in working with different external APIs including JSON: API
- Experience managing relational databases (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) with proficiency in managing DB tables, queries and stored procedures
- Server management skills and an understanding of infrastructure concepts including networking, storage, backups, disaster recovery, etc. are desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
