What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intermediate Designer position at Peggy Allegra Chiang?
Robin Chiang & Company is currently interviewing for an Intermediate Architectural Designer in San Francisco with 5 years of experience. Our ideal candidate will participate in the design and execution of multiple projects creatively and technically in all phases, from conceptualization to construction administration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional Architectural Degree Completed, BA/MA.
- Demonstrates ability to participate in teams through all project phases
- Command of Revit (essential), AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suites
- Experience in major public-sector infrastructure projects a super plus.
- Background as a public transportation advocate a super duper plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and refine new ideas within range of Robin Chiang & Co’s work.
- Self-organize, navigate ambiguity, and improvise in a demanding work environment.
- Able to produce commentary and analysis on the issues before the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA.
· Selected candidates must be willing and available to work in the office for the first 90 days. Remote work thereafter is a possibility.
CURRENTLY ON THE BOARDS:
· BART to Silicon Valley – Station and station-area planning, for the BART extension to San Jose.
· Port of SF, Water Resiliency Program North – as part of engineering team working on sea level rise along the Fisherman Wharf area.
