SAP FICO Functional Consultant (Finance Business Analyst)

Position Summary:
Responsible for aligning business needs within the Finance function with SAP system capabilities. This role leads solution design, configuration, and deployment activities within SAP FICO, ensuring optimal use of technology to support business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage business-IT relationships related to Finance systems requirements and solutions.
- Configure SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) in accordance with best practices.
- Drive full project lifecycle activities scope definition, requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Evaluate cross-functional impacts and ensure integration across SAP modules.
- Provide production support and maintain system documentation.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to IT standards, policies, and governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems (preferred).
- Minimum 7 years SAP FICO functional experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance integration with MM/SD.
- S/4HANA experience preferred.
- Exposure to OpenText, SAP BPC, and Vendor EDI tools preferred.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
