· Experience in the application of archival methodologies and standards (including MPLP and DACS) for organization and description of archival collections.

· Experience with archival collection management systems (i.e. ArchivEra, ArchiveSpace, etc.) and digital preservation systems (i.e. Preservica)
We are seeking a skilled and organized Archivist to join our research team. The Archivist will be responsible for the acquisition, preservation, and management of research-related records, documents, and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing research archives, ensuring that all materials are preserved, cataloged, and accessible to researchers, scholars, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Archival Science, Information Management, Library Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in an archival role, preferably within a research or academic environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of archival practices, metadata standards, and cataloging.
- Proficiency in digitization techniques and managing digital repositories.
- Familiarity with research data management principles and protocols.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with archival software, databases, and digital preservation tools.
- Familiarity with records management systems, content management systems (CMS), and data protection software.
