A growing distribution company in Maryland Heights, St. Louis, MO is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to oversee internal audits, and support continued growth. This role includes occasional travel to Europe, with company-paid airfare and time built in to explore a city for a day or two while attending audit meetings.
What you’ll do
- Plan and perform internal audits across operations, finance, and compliance
- Evaluate internal controls and identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with business leaders to recommend practical, workable solutions
- Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to leadership
- Help build and refine internal audit processes as the company grows
What we’re looking for
- CPA required
- 2 years of external audit experience in corporate accounting
- Solid understanding of audit standards and internal controls
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Comfortable with 30% travel in USA and 1-2 trips a year overseas to Europe
