PEG Music is looking for an energetic and proactive Assistant Tour Manager to join our team. This role is all about action, helping support every part of the touring process while keeping artists, crew, venues, and logistics running in perfect harmony. You’ll be at the heart of the tour, helping make every show seamless, exciting, and memorable.
You must currently live in the Nashville greater metropolitan area to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Tour Manager in all aspects of daily tour operations, travel, and logistics.
- Coordinate schedules, venue details, and communication between artists, crew, and venues.
- Anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, and keep the tour running smoothly.
- Assist with travel itineraries, lodging, and transportation for artists and crew.
- Support with personal needs for the artists as needed.
- Represent PEG Music with professionalism, positivity, and great energy, on and off the road.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and pivot quickly.
- Positive, proactive attitude; thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for live music and entertainment.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
- Makeup, styling, or artist presentation experience preferred but not required.
Tour Life Expectations (What It Takes to Succeed on the Road)
- Be ready for anything - from changing a flat tire to helping an artist with their hair and makeup.
- Willing to make a Walmart run at midnight, grab coffee at sunrise, or pick-up a missing cable five minutes before showtime.
- Keep the team’s energy up; bring positivity, humor, and calm even when the schedule gets crazy.
- Always anticipate the artist’s needs before they ask; hydration, wardrobe, snacks, set lists, or emotional support.
- Think fast; when plans change (and they will), you pivot, adapt, and lead the solution.
- Be the bridge between logistics and people; the person everyone trusts to “just make it happen.”
- Manage your time (and sleep!) wisely; late nights and early mornings are part of the rhythm.
- Always put safety first; for the artist, the crew, and yourself.

Experience:
- Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in music, entertainment or in a similar role within the music industry.
Education:
- Degree in Music Business, Arts Management, or a related field preferred.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with artists, crew, and venue staff.
Organizational Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
- Will assist in driving the tour vehicle during tour days when needed.
