This is a full-time, on-site role for an EHS Coordinator based in Alameda, CA. The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives to ensure workplace safety. Key responsibilities include developing and conducting safety training sessions, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and identifying potential hazards. The role involves collaborating with team members to promote a safe and healthy work environment while driving improvements in occupational health and safety policies.
- Proficiency in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) management and Occupational Health principles
- Experience with Workplace Safety practices and policies
- Skills in Safety Training and facilitation
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus
