Temporary Production Prep & Pack Associate (Spanish-speaking Required)

Peerless Umbrella Co., Inc., a growing manufacturing company in Newark, NJ is seeking a reliable and motivated Temporary Production Prep and Pack Associate to join the team. This role supports production processes and assists with final packaging of completed goods. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify products pulled match worksheets.
• Prepare products for screen printing, heat pressing, labeling, and other decoration.
• Inspect goods for defects or inconsistencies.
• Assist in final packaging and repacking of goods after production.
• Stand and move throughout the entire shift.
• Lift cartons and goods weighing 25 lbs or more.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Follows all company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Works collaboratively as part of a team.
• May be assigned to other duties as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain pace.
• Basic counting and verification skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and moving 8 hours/day.
• Lifting 25 lbs regularly; occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
