Inventory Specialist

Peerless Technologies is seeking an Inventory Specialist to provide asset management and inventory support for Government-owned equipment and materials. The Inventory Specialist will conduct physical inventories, maintain accurate asset records, update labeling, and support the acquisition, transfer, modification, and disposal of assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventories of Government-owned assets and reconcile records with ERP data.
• Record inventory results, discrepancies, and location updates using Excel and Government systems.
• Label, inspect, clean, and maintain asset identification markings.
• Travel on and off base to various locations to conduct scheduled inventory activities.
• Identify and report unmarked, missing, damaged, or improperly accounted-for material.
• Use the Government ERP system to maintain asset records and process asset transactions.
• Receive, sort, and label excess equipment.
• Report suspected theft, fraud, misuse, and other discrepancies.
• Provide administrative and analytical support and recommend improvements to inventory and asset management processes.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings and prepare agendas and related documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers, Government customers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to wear safety shoes and other required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Reliable team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
