Peerless Search Partners has partnered with a growing, global manufacturer to identify a Financial Analyst for their Richmond, Indiana location. This is a newly created role with strong visibility to senior leadership and significant runway for long-term growth. It's an opportunity for a financial analysis professional who wants to build something rather than just maintain it.
The ideal candidate brings solid accounting or financial analysis experience, is comfortable partnering directly with operations, and wants real ownership in shaping how the finance function supports the broader business.
What You'll Do
- Prepare financial analyses and reports that support month-end close and business decisions
- Partner with manufacturing operations on financial analysis, project tracking, and performance improvement initiatives
- Contribute to annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Analyze performance against budget and forecast and identify key drivers of variance
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal tax obligations
- Compile and maintain data used to calculate and report KPIs
- Support treasury, banking, and risk management activities
- Support working capital initiatives as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
- SAP experience preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
