What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Peerless-Premier Appliance Company?
Metro East Manufacturing Company has an immediate opening for a qualified Maintenance Mechanic. This is a full-time position in a Union Shop with a full benefit package.
Education Preferred: High School
Maintenance related technical training or 5 years’ experience
Must be proficient in general maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC systems, air compressors, and general building maintenance. Must be able to troubleshoot electrical equipment, without help or assistance. This also includes experience in any of the following: industrial electronics, motors and controls, schematics and electrical power, print reading, computers and PLC’s, electronics, AC/DC theory, power, test instruments and instrumentation, electrical maintenance, commercial construction and installation. Preference will be given to those with prior experience with Powder Paint Systems and Power Presses.
Strict adherence to safety procedures/guidelines at all times.
Knowledge of 240v-3ph and 480v-3ph electrical systems.
Must be a self starter and be able to work alone.
Must have 5 years experience
Must have solid background in trouble shooting and Electrical Repair
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have own work tools
