We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and hard-working individual to join our mobile culinary team full-time and help deliver top-notch food and service across the Miami Valley.
Job Description:
As a Full-Time Food Truck Team Member, you will handle everything from food prep and cooking to guest interactions and cash handling. Because we operate in a fast-paced mobile environment, you will wear many hats. If you love a dynamic workday where you aren't stuck behind the same counter every day, this is the perfect job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking: Prep ingredients daily, execute menu items to high-quality standards, and safely operate flat-tops, fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately using our mobile POS system, and handle payments (cash and card).
Inventory & Restocking: Help load and unload the truck with food, beverages, ice, and paper supplies before and after shifts.
Truck Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards inside the truck. Perform setup, breakdown, and deep cleaning procedures.
Event Execution: Assist with navigating to local breweries, festivals, private catering gigs, and community events around the greater Dayton area.
Shift & Schedule:
Full-time (35–40 hours per week).
Open availability is required, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends (peak food truck hours).
Weekly schedule fluctuates based on booked events and festival seasons.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 1 years of experience in food service, quick-service restaurants (QSR), or food trucks is highly preferred, but we will train the right attitude!
Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (comfortability driving or learning to drive a food truck/transit vehicle is a major plus).
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying temperature environments (hot truck summers/cool autumn events), and lift up to 50 lbs.
Certifications: ServSafe or local food handler certification is preferred (or must be willing to obtain upon hire).
Attributes: Strong communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure during a rush.
