Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a seamless surface
- Install additional wall components such as insulation, framing, and soundproofing materials as needed
- Read schematics and blueprints to ensure precise placement of drywall in alignment with design plans
- Perform repairs on damaged drywall surfaces including patching holes or water damage restoration
- Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes efficiently
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco finishes, and perform related tasks like door hanging or fixture installation when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation within construction sites or remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in plastering, taping, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces to professional standards
- Familiarity with construction plumbing, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry, and tile laying is a plus
- Ability to work safely at heights and handle heavy materials with proper safety protocols in place
- Prior experience with restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or water damage repair is advantageous
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results

Pay: $24.40 - $29.39 per hour
