Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and train team members on food preparation, customer service, POS systems (including Aloha, TouchBistro, and Micros), and food safety protocols
- Oversee food handling, cooking processes, and food production to maintain quality and consistency in all menu items
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety management and sanitation standards
- Support staff training initiatives, including interviewing new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development
- Assist in managing restaurant budgets, profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-control measures
- Maintain excellent customer service by resolving guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Coordinate shift activities such as kitchen management, supervising food preparation areas, and overseeing catering or banquet services when applicable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures; experience with food safety management is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and budgeting tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, staff training, and customer interactions
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and financial reporting purposes
- Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is advantageous; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
