JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible and accountable for successfully managing multiple projects or programs concurrently to meet the objectives of the client’s stated program/project AND meet the objectives of PM Design Group, the (Company). Project managers shall also demonstrate managerial and leadership qualities that support and exemplify the Company values, culture, ethical, moral and staff growth standards and objectives. The Project Manager shall plan, organize, monitor, manage, and control the development and completion of assigned projects of PM Design Group. A priority of the Project manager is to delegate tasks and responsibilities to subordinates as required to maintain accountability and growth of the staff. Project manager shall provide mentorship and training to staff.
Objectives of a successful Project Manager:
- Gain and maintain client trust by meeting commitments, being responsive to client requests, providing clear and concise verbal and written communications internally and externally, suggesting alternatives, solutions and mitigating unexpected cost overruns.
- Organized and efficiency driven.
- Plan project schedules with realistic milestones and maintain project schedules and reporting.
- Maintain project profitability utilizing WebApps project overview report as benchmark. The two key factors are labor target % at or below 100%. Write Ups/Write downs above zero.
- Meet or exceed minimum project quality as outlined by QA/QC team to mitigate risks.
- Support both existing and new business development activities to acquire new work or provide additional services.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities. Provide positive and improvement feedback to staff. Acknowledge superior performance and train where improvement is needed.
- Review subordinate work and check to ensure documents meet or exceed client objectives, expectations and Company's standards PRIOR to final delivery.
- Continuous knowledge development and improvement by seeking continuing education opportunities in both technical and managerial subjects relating to the functions of the company or Position.
- Monitor staff efficiencies and maintain minimum billable utilization rates.
Competencies:
- Construction methodology.
- National and local building codes including accessibility codes.
- Experienced in the proposal process and additional services requests and change orders.

- Business Development activities for both new and existing clients.
Requirements:
- Architectural Degree - (License preferred but not required)
- 7 - 10 years of senior architectural management experience.
- Proficient and knowledgeable in REVIT and AutoCAD software programs
- Commercial Retail and Restaurant Experience.
- Finance and budget management experience
- Business Development Experience
- Staff Management Experience necessary (coaching, mentoring, training)
