Pediatric Private Duty LPN – Weekday Days – Enterprise, MS

PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in the Stonewall / Enterprise, MS area.

We are currently seeking an LPN for consistent weekday day shifts, with the greatest need for coverage Wednesday–Friday from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Additional Monday and Tuesday shifts may also be available for nurses interested in working a Monday–Friday schedule.

Our greatest need is Wednesday through Friday, but we are happy to consider an LPN interested in working Monday through Friday.

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 13-year-old male pediatric patient in the comfort of his home.

Clinical needs include:

• G-tube and PO feedings with aspiration precautions

• Seizure precautions

• Medication administration

• Assistance with ADLs

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, skilled intervention, and individualized support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

• Administer G-tube and oral feedings while maintaining ordered aspiration precautions

• Maintain seizure precautions and respond appropriately to seizure activity

• Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Mississippi

• Current BLS certification

• Current TB screening within the past 12 months

• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Pediatric or private duty nursing experience is a plus
