Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our pediatric inpatient and critical care team at Summerville Medical Center (SMC)—just 30 minutes from Charleston!
Your Clinical Scope
- 6-bed PICU
- Level III NICU support
- Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
- Inpatient pediatric floor ER consults
- In-house days, home call at night
- Teaching opportunities teaching: a family medicine residency program is now in its third year with residents participating about half of the year, 4.5 days per week
- Procedures include: intubations, LPs, line/chest tube placement, CPR
- 2024 Census: 373 pediatric admits, 85 PICU admits, ADC: 4.1
