Overview
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an additional BC/BE Pediatrician to join our established pediatric hospitalist and practitioner team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.
The Practice
- 30bed pediatric inpatient unit with an average daily census of 16–18
- Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery
- 16bed PICU staffed by a dedicated, Pediatrixaffiliated pediatric intensivist group
- Clinical responsibilities include:
- Pediatric inpatient ward coverage
- Newborn nursery examinations
- Emergency Department consultations
- Pediatric resident and medical student education
- Academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
- Renown Regional Medical Center is the only Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California
