Responsibilities
- Annual deliveries: 3,400–3,900
- Annual NICU admissions: 370–400
- Average daily census: 25–29 infants
- Lead and manage a 35-bed Level III NICU, providing full-service neonatal care including:
- High-frequency ventilation
- Therapeutic hypothermia
- Well-baby rounding two weeks per month in collaboration with the Family Medicine Residency Program
- Supportive team structure of 4 Neonatologists:
- One week on service
- Every other night call
- One week off
- 24/7 NNP coverage
- Strong subspecialty support including Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, and collaboration with a 3-physician Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) team
- A South Carolina medical license is preferred but not required to apply
