Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks an experienced, Board Certified (in Pediatrics with recent Neonatal experience) to provide per diem coverage at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The hospital’s NICU offers:
- State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
- The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
- Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
- Primary responsibilities include managing Level II NICU patients (not responsible for attending high risk deleiveries)
- All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
- 24-hour NNP coverage
- Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
- We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit
- Our core values support a culture of life-long learning and professional growth
- Shifts are 6-8 shours (varies regarding daily census and case complexity)
- Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent Neonatal experience required
- Active FL license or active IMLC required
